No Rainbows and Unicorns-Just Pigs

I was all heart full of rainbows and unicorns yesterday as the three Pigs played together in the back yard.  They played tag, were swinging on the swings, sliding down the slide.  It’s what a parent dreams of happening when the build that big wooden swing set.

My unicorns were soon slaughtered.  The youngest Pig began taunting the older two, and the next thing you know, the older two caught Pig 3, and threw him down to the ground.

But wait!  There’s more! The Pigs, being clever, brilliant, and well on their way to Evil Genius status, noticed dog crap near the incident.  So they picked up Pig 3 and threw him down again, into the dog poop.

One the knitting front, no unicorns have been slaughtered.  Patterns maybe, but no unicorns.

I started the Boheme baby cardi thing by Allegra Wermuth.  It’s available on the lovely site of great information and free patterns Ravelry, and also at Fiddlesticknitting-which come to think about it is also a lovely site of great information and free patterns.

I’m using the actual called for Socks that Rock yarn.  Because for some reason I have a large amount of sock yarn, and no desire to knit socks.  It was like the coming together of two great ideas.  My love of purchasing sock yarn and then a nice way to dispose of it.

  1. That happens over here too – just when I think they are loving on each other, someone smacks someone else and all hell breaks loose. And – I am extra vigilant about picking up dog poo precisely for the reason you mentioned.
